Coal Dust - made from real coal, the obvious application is around an engine shed scene, coal yard or on and around steam locomotives.
(image shows selection of weathering powders only one tub supplied)
These powders can transform the appearance of track to give the effect of dirt, grime and brake dust residues settling around the rails and track bed. They can also be used to weather rolling stock and buildings, toning-down their freshly-painted surfaces, creating a more realistic, natural look. There is a selection of six powders available, all perfect on their own for specific uses, but also ideal for blending to create a certain required colour. Once applied they can either be left as they are, or sealed with a suitable matt varnish.
